Can I wear my pj's still?
One of our most-asked questions is about what to wear (or not wear) whilst using our grounding pillowcases and sheets. The good news? Your favourite PJs are definitely allowed!
While skin-to-sheet contact gives you the full power of grounding (just like walking barefoot on the beach), you don't need to sleep starkers to reap the benefits. As long as parts of your body - like your arms, feet, legs, tummy or back - are touching the sheet, you're good to go.
Here's the lowdown: having some uncovered skin directly on the sheet can be particularly helpful if you're targeting specific areas for recovery or wellness. Think of it like sitting on the grass at your local park - the more connection, the better the grounding.
For optimum results, we recommend using your grounding sheet as your bottom sheet, right on your mattress and lay on top of it. This way, you're getting the most out of your grounding experience, just as nature intended. If you are using a grounding pillowcase, it doesn't matter what you wear as long as your face and/or neck is in direct contact with the case.
The key takeaway? Rock whatever sleep style makes you most comfortable! Whether you're in your cosiest PJs or birthday suit, as long as you've got some skin contact with the grounding fabric, you're sorted for a naturally grounded night's sleep.
Sweet dreams whanau!
